Happy New Year! Abib 1

Biblical New Year: March 26, 2025 – Never January 1st!

The TRUE Rosh Hashanah!

Exodus 12:2"This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."

For several years now, we have followed the Zadok Way Qumran Calendar, primarily because it is based on the calendars found in Qumran/Bethabara, the community of John the Baptist and Yahusha. For undeniable evidence of this connection, see our in-depth research here:
👉 Who Lived in Qumran? The Dead Sea Scrolls Research

We recognize that many calendars exist, and even Zadok Way proposed a 1-week reconcile this year, though no detailed explanation has been provided yet. However, we will be releasing supporting information on this soon. For now, we are sticking to their version this year, as we find a strong foundation in their calculations. We do not support minor adjustments of a single day or anything less than a full 7-day reconcile, which we will explain in detail in an upcoming release.

We've been quite busy lately—dealing with assaults on our site and YouTube channel, gross misrepresentations from bloggers, and responding with:

As for Abib 1, we commemorate this event each year with a special dinner following the pattern of Noah. While this is not one of the seven Feasts, it remains a significant time of remembrance.

The Bible NEVER Changes the New Year to Fall

There is not a single verse in scripture that moves the New Year to the Fall. The term "Rosh Hashanah" (Head of the Year) refers ONLY to Abib 1never to the Fall. The idea of a "Fall New Year" is a Babylonian tradition, not Biblical.

The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) in the 7th month (Ethanim 1) was never called Rosh Hashanah in the Bible. That name was added later, well after scripture was written. Leviticus 23:23-25 makes it clear that this is the 7th month, meaning it cannot be the 1st month. The argument from Ezekiel 40:1 about entering on the 10th of "Rosh Hashanah" is misleading. Likewise, the Mishnah (200 A.D.) is far too late to establish any Biblical precedent for a Fall New Year.

The Feast of Trumpets is Ethanim 1, NOT Abib 1. It is also on the 1st day of the month, NOT the 10th. Many scholars have blindly repeated propaganda rather than prioritizing true Biblical exegesis.

Challenge the Narrative!

The internet is flooded with false claims about Rosh Hashanah being in the Fall. But where is the scripture that actually defines the "Head of the Year" as anything but Abib 1? It does not exist! Instead, many will offer distractions—but they will never produce a verse that changes the Biblical New Year.

Keep the Feasts!

If you follow another calendar, that is fine—we have yet to find a perfect one. But as Paul affirmed in Acts 18:21:

"I must by all means keep this feast."

We will continue notifying the community of the calendar dates we follow throughout the year. However, we still have not released our own calendar.

Enjoy the Feasts this year, teach others, and keep seeking truth!
Yah Bless! 🙌
