📯 The Fall Feasts Prophetic Timing: Wheat, Tares, and the Final Harvest

Will the Rapture Occur September 23, 2025?

Overwhelming Evidence the Fall Feasts Did Not Pass Away

Many have heard the latest predictions of a supposed rapture on the Feast of Trumpets. Yet as with past claims, the day will come and go, and we will all regroup afterward, still here. This is not the first time — in fact, similar speculations tied to September 23rd have already proven false. The real question, however, is this: Can we know the season of the Second Coming, and even the timing of the harvest of believers often called the rapture? While these prophets stumble by overlooking the many events Scripture says must occur before the Day of Judgment, there is a reasoning that makes sense. The Fall Feasts do indeed carry profound prophetic significance. Let’s put it to the test.

📖 Matthew 24:29–44 (KJV) — The Coming of the Son of Man

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Key points from Matthew 24:

  • “Immediately after the tribulation…” → Messiah’s return is not before but after the tribulation.

  • “He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet…” → The Fall Feasts begin with Trumpets.

  • Parable of the Fig Tree (vv. 32–33) → We are expected to know the season.

  • No man knows the day nor the hour (v. 36) → Timing is Yahuah’s, but the season is revealed. We should know this

🌾 Matthew 13:24–30 (KJV) — The Wheat and the Tares

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

  • Wheat and tares grow together until harvest.

  • The separation cannot happen early, because the roots intertwine.

  • The harvest is the end of the world (Matthew 13:39 explains).

📚 Supporting Insights

1. Darnel and Wheat (Fausset’s Bible Dictionary)

“Darnel; at first impossible to distinguish from wheat or barley, until the wheat's ear is developed, when the thin fruitless ear of the darnel is detected. Its root too so intertwines with that of the wheat that the farmer cannot separate them, without plucking up both, ‘till the time of harvest.’ The seed is like wheat, but smaller and black, and when mixed with wheat flour causes dizziness, intoxication, and paralysis; Lolium temulentum, ‘bearded darnel’, the only deleterious grain among all the numerous grasses.”

This explains perfectly why Messiah said, “Let both grow together until the harvest” — judgment must wait until maturity.

2. Spring Wheat Cycle

  • Winter wheat → planted in the fall, harvested in early summer.

  • Spring wheat → planted in the spring, harvested in the autumn.

👉 Messiah planted His seed in the Spring Feasts (Passover/Unleavened Bread/Firstfruits) and the final harvest comes in the Fall Feasts.

3. John 12:23–24 (KJV)

“And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

Messiah = the seed, planted at Passover in the Spring to be harvested in the Fall season. No one knows the day or hour, but the season can be pinpointed. Jubilees calls Yahusha: "the seed of the plant of righteousness" as well.

4. 1 Corinthians 15:20–23 (KJV)

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.”
  • Spring = Firstfruits (His resurrection).

  • Fall = Full harvest at His coming.

5. Revelation 14:14–15 (KJV)

“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

The Son of Man harvests at the appointed season — the Fall harvest.

6. Planted in the Spring, Harvested in the Fall

  • Planted in Passover/Unleavened Bread (spring) in His death and resurrection.

  • Firstfruits = Messiah’s resurrection.

  • Harvest gathered at Trumpets → Atonement → Tabernacles (fall).

  • Yes, we can know the season (Matthew 24:32–33; Matthew 25:1–13).

7. Pattern of the Feasts and the Wheat

8. Prophetic Meaning of the Fall Feasts

  • Trumpets (Yom Teruah): The trumpet blast of Messiah’s return, gathering of the elect.

  • Atonement (Yom Kippur): Day of Judgment, national repentance of Israel.

  • Tabernacles (Sukkot/Shemini Atzeret): God’s dwelling with His people forever (Revelation 21:3).

📜 Enoch 92–93 — The Final Three Weeks
Enoch describes the history of the world in “weeks.” The last three (Weeks 8–10) describe:

  • The righteous planted (Messiah).

  • Judgment upon the wicked.

  • The eternal dwelling of God with His people.

This aligns seamlessly with the Fall Feasts cycle. Enoch says it was written prior to the Flood but regardless, this was known in 200 B.C. or so in the Dead Sea Scroll community. This is not a new truth but the ancient understanding restored.

⏳ The Conclusion

  • No one has reconciled the ancient calendar with the Roman one in this age. When one attempts to claim this position is somehow knowing the day, the answer is no. No one has a perfected calendar and no one knows the exact day of the Fall Feasts. Perhaps this is prophecy that such reconcile may not happen.

  • Are we date setting? NO! We never have and we never will. Even our Calculation of Daniel's 2300 Days leaves a margin for error and was only created as a ballpark which we said many times over. What it proves is we are in the last century and that is not a claim to know the day or hour but again, the season which we are supposed to know.

  • No one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36).

  • But we are commanded to know the season (Matthew 24:32–33; Matthew 25:13). The sad thing is this has been lost but it never should have been. That says much about a church claiming to be the continuation of Peter who forgot the name of their God, YHWH, forgot the Feasts Peter celebrated changing them to occult events, forgot His calendar in every sense, and even forgot the prophetic significance of His Fall Feasts. One in true relationship with Yahusha could never forget either of these significant points.

  • The wheat was planted in the Spring Feasts, and it will be harvested in the Fall Feasts. This is the most likely Season of His return. Anyone forgetting the many events of Revelation, Daniel, 2nd Esdras, etc. claiming to know prophecy, is not truly representing the Biblical view. Prophecy is far more complex and requires a maintaining of the prophetic timeline and events all along.

The Fall Feasts cannot pass away before they are fulfilled, because their shadow points forward to the heavenly reality of Messiah’s return. The wheat has been planted. The tares have grown up among it. The harvest is nearly ripe. We cannot know the day or the hour, but yes, we can know the season.
